Guest Speaker, Thursday April 19

On Thursday, April 19 the Paralegal Club’s guest speaker will be Kaye H. Summers, ACP, NCCP of Pulley, Watson, King & Lischer, P.A. She will be speaking on the benefits of the North Carolina Paralegal Association and our mentoring program, as well as what attorneys are looking for/expecting of entry level paralegal. She will have some things to give away to the students as well.

The event will take place in room 45 of the White Building, from 2 pm to 3 pm. LEX 286-001 students will be dismissed early to attend the event.

The Supreme Court ruled unanimously Wednesday that foreign terrorist groups and other organizations cannot be sued under a federal law intended to protect people who are tortured overseas.
